Finishes and a New Start!

As I hoped I managed to finish the stitching on All Our Yesterdays the Ligthouse on Friday, it just needs the outlining done. I will post a picture when this is complete.

I also stitched a scissor fob, a freebie that I had seen on a blog somewhere that I just HAD to stitch. When this is made up I will post a picture lol.

I think I mentioned in a previous post that I had entered the Lizzie Kate Lovers Creative Challenge. I don't know why becuase I'm I no finisher. Its not something I particularly enjoy and I am not particularly good at it. So it came as not great surprise I didn't win I don't think I even got a vote but the winner, whose name I can't remember, was a fantastic finish and I offer my congratulations. But I can now show you my finish but don't look too closely lol.

As I had finished the stitching on my Lighthouse on Friday night I started my weekend project. I started Lizzie Kate's Halloween Sampler which I have a for a couple of years and have never got round to stitching it. I have to admit this is my first attempt at Halloween stitching and this is my progress as of tonight. I have to say I LOVE this one. I love the colours and it has stitched up quite well as well.

This week I will be stitching on Blue Ribbons Peppermint Twist and am really looking forward to working on this one.

Until next time, happy stitching.

Lesleyanne xx

Well done on your finishing, I think it looks great. I am not too confident on finishing either, i'm yet to try some myself.

I like the LK halloween pattern, it's cute and I love the colours too.

Your scissor holder looks just fab! But I especially love the Halloween Sampler. I love, love, love Lizzie Kate. Her designs are so simple, but so effective, and she uses great colors.

I think your finishing looks great! In regards to my trip - we stayed in the travellodge which was overlooking the sea. It did a cooked breakfast too!! x
