Another Birthday Card

Poor Orlando Bloom has been put aside these past two evenings so I could stitch this for a work colleague who is turning 40, so far he only has a nose. Hopefully I will get more done tomorrow.

Whatever the weather, enjoy your stitching.

August Birthday Cards

I finished off these cards today - cross stitched them over the weekend. They are for a friend and her daughter who both have birthdays in August. I am trying to decide whether to start my September birthday cards next weekend, start my christmas cards or whether to carry on with my new start, Stitch a Star Orlando Bloom. Any help on decision making would be appreciated.

I can't believe I have TEN followers already - many thanks to you all and all those that leave comments.

I'll be back with a progress picture of Orlando Bloom at the weekend until then whatever the weather, enjoy your stitching.

Row of Love Progress

Heres my progress on Dimensions Row of Love. Sorry the picture is not that great - I'm not sure why. I do like this one - I'm not looking forward to all the backstitch though. I think I have progressed well but came to abrupt halt tonight as I can't find my chart - it's around somewhere but I've looked for it and can't find it so I've put it away for now.

I am going to cross stitch two birthday cards ready for August this weekend - I'm about half way through the first one. I'll post pictures when I've finished them both.

On Monday I'm going to start another Stitch a Star. This time it's Orlando Bloom for a friend at work.

Whatever the weather, enjoy your stitching.

Ho Ho Ho (well Ho anyway)

This is my progress on Lizzie Kate's 2007 special edition christmas kit - as I thought I didn't get much done on it with all the coming and goings for school etc.

I'm not sure about the material - I'm an aida girl really and I keep pulling this on my hoop to keep it tight I shudder to think what it will look like when I'm finished probably very very wonky.

I'm going to work on Row of Love this next week and hope to be more productive than this week's effort.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Whatever the weather enjoy your stitching.

Rotation

I have been sort of following this rotation for about a month and it seems to be working well so I thought I would put it in writing.

I had a new start - L*K Special Edition christmas kit - I don't know why I started this, it wasn't even on the radar but I found the material and thought I'll do that and so that was that. I will post a picture at the end of the week.

I don't know how much stitching I will get done this week - my eldest son is leaving primary school and there is lots on - sports day, leavers bbq, leavers assembly to name a few.

Anyway thats all for now.

Whatever the weather - enjoy your stitching.

Happy Birthday

This is the birthday card I made for my eldest son who is 11 today (Happy Birthday darling). So far he has had a very good day so far with lots of presents, cash and game cards to spend so he is one very happy bunny. We're going bowling later so that should be good.

Whatever the weather, enjoy your stitching

Finishing

I made these up the other day - my first attempt at finishing (thank you to Ginnie's Cross Stitch for sending me how to do these). I am quite pleased with them but probably need more practice before they are perfect.

Stash

I'm going to have a go at making some of my smaller stitched pieces into wall hangings or pin keeps - so needed to buy some material and ribbon and this is what I picked up. Wish me luck - I'm no good at this sort of thing.

Whatever the weather, enjoy your stitching.

Poppy Progress

This is where I have got to after a week with my lanarte poppy. I have to say I'm really enjoying this and will continue for another week.

I am still stitching my son's birthday card - for something so small it seems to be taking forever. I suppose that's the problem trying to scatch a bit of time here and a bit of time there. Should I ever get it finished I will post a picture.

Whatever the weather, enjoy your stitching.
