Tusal - September

I am late, again, with my Tusal picture.  It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have the dates on my blog.  But here is my Tusal for September.  Mainly the orts added are from Ariadne who has seen a bit more progress this week but not enough to share a picture.  My stitching has been a bit intermittent this week and I haven't done much.  I couldn't stitch my ornament as I didn't have any suitable fabric but have now received that from Sew and So so will stitch that this week and my hubby's CFC logo will probably see some action too.   That's the plan but we will see.

I have attempted another finish and have attached a picture.  It is CCN's Merry and Bright finished as a flat ornament again using Angela's tutorial.  I do not like finishing particularly and it is not helped by the fact that I don't think I am much good at it either.

I had to give in and put the heating on this week as it has definitely turned colder in my neck of the woods.

I hope the pictures are okay as I had had to use my phone as my camera seems to have died.

Until next time, happy stitching xxx

Heating is on here too Lesleyanne! Last year I didn't put it on until November.
Your finish is lovely. I will definitely have to give ricrac a go in my finishing, I've never used it before.

I think Merry & Bright looks great!

No heating on here just yet, just a couple of thick jumpers pulled out of the wardrobe!

your ornament looks lovely and there are a lot of orts in your tusal pic.

I put the heating on yesterday , i didn't like the chill in the house.
It has been raining a lot over here, luckily mostly at night, there is some sunshine today.

Hugs Yvon.

Yep--I gave up, too, and turned the heat on this week. We always try to get through until October without it, but it just couldn't be done this year!!

Your little ornament is darling, Lesleyanne--love that pink ric rak :)

Good job on the finishing, just keep doing it. It's one of those things that do get better with practice.
