Poppy Progress!

This is my progress for this week on my Lanarte Poppy. I do enjoy stitching this and could quite easily carry on with it.

I did stitch on LHN Red House in Winter but unfortuantely I made so many mistakes on it I have decided to bin it. I had managed to fudge a couple of mistakes I made but on the third and uncorrectable it went flying across the room lol. I seem to do this with littler projects so might just carry on with my bigger projects for now and try again later in the year.

It is the Christmas Design SAL next week and I have a new start. I will be stitching Blue Ribbon Design's Peppermint Twist and am looking forward to this. Just have to decide on my fabric. Can't design between Summer Khaki 28ct Linen or nice old cream 14ct aida. No doubt I will decide by tomorrow.

It is bank holiday monday tomorrow so no work for me so a little extra time stitching.

Until next time happy stitching

Lesleyanne

What a shame about your LHN project. Sometimes it does happen that way and I've binned projects too because of too many mistakes to make right.

I'm loving the poppy. Looks very detailed and delicate.

I absolutely love this poppy Lesleyanne.

Sorry to hear about your LHN piece. Its funny how small pieces can cause such problems. I often find that lol!

I'm looking forward to seeing Peppermint Twist. You will love stitching it.

The colours in the poppy are so pretty.

Sorry to hear your LHN piece went in the bin, i find that the smaller projects sometimes cause the most grief

Hope you had a lovely bank hol weekend.

The poppy must be so much fun to stitch with such lovely colors, Lesleyanne. Hope that Red House in Winter eventually makes its way into your stitching pile again--it is such a pretty design :)

Sorry to hear about your red house! But if it isn't fun why not just get rid of it? Your poppy looks great!
