Lanarte Poppy

This is what I'm going to be stitching on this week. I'm not too sure when I started it but it is my third attempt. The first two I started in the top left hand corner (my usual starting place) but made such big boo boos that even frogging wouldn't fix it. So this time I started in the middle and it seems to be going well and I'm really enjoying it.

I haven't started my birthday card yet as the chart needs enlarging so I can see the symbols and so I'll stitch on it when I get home from work and put it away before my son get homes from school.

Happy Dance

I finished Zac Efron from High School Music a little while ago today. Don't look too closely it needs washing there are a couple of marks on the aida.

I think I'm now going to start a birthday card for my eldest son who is 11 in a couple of weeks.

Zac Efron Progress

This is my progress on Zac Efron for this week - I stopped and cross stitched a birthday card which I have forgotten to photograph. I'll be back on Zac on Monday whilst watching Wimbledon.

Henry VIII and his six wives

I haven't taken a picture of my progress of Zac Efron yet - will do so over the weekend but it is progressing well. So I thought I would post pictures of previous finishes, Henry VIII and Henry VIII and his six wives (Ginnie of Ginnie's Cross Stitch asked to see them). Both of these were done for my mum and I loved every minute of stitching them especially the one with his wives.

New Start and Finish

I have had this cross stitch of Winnie the Pooh for a while now and haven't known what to do with it so today I made it into a christmas card - I don't think it looks too bad.

Yesterday I started a Stitch a Star, Zac Efron, from Cross Stitcher (I think), for a friend's daugher - will post a picture later in the week.

The start of the blog

This blog is going to be about my cross stitching both finished and works in progress.

Today I bought some plain white cards to start making cross stitch cards. I have finished one but it will have to remain secret for a while until it is received but I have to say I am pleased with it.

I am currently stitching A Row of Love by Dimensions Gold and a Lanarte Poppy (will show pictures when I have learnt how to post them).
