Ornament Finish / New Start

I finished my ornament for my SALs with Angela and the Monthly Ornament SAL.  For February I chose LHN Gingerbread Cookie.  Sorry for the creases.  I did change the colours slightly.  I can't believe this little guy took me six evenings to stitch, more to do with me than the design.

I have also had a new start, yeah like I need another one, but this is a "must" stitch even though I can't say I am thrilled by it.  It is the Chelsea Football Logo that I have promised to stitch for my husband.  Quite pleased with my progress on this.  I am stitching it on 16ct white fabric as when I started it on the 14ct it didn't look right.

This week I will be working on my Lizzie Kate Boo Club sal.

Another slow week of stitching on QS Literate Dragon.  It seemed to take until Friday before I got into the grove and after making good progress for International Hermit and Stitch Weekend I don't want to put it away.

It is definitely challenging with the amount of confetti but Puff the magic dragon, as I have called him as I have the song going round in my head whenever I stitch him, is coming along well and starting to take shape.  I had hope to finish the last two columns but ran out of time in my rotation.

This week I am going to be stitching a ornament as part of my SAL with Angela and the Christmas Ornament SAL 2013.

Boo! Belles!

I have been pleased with my progress this week although a couple of nights I didn't get to stitch.  I finished both blocks I wanted to finish to try and get my rotation back on track.

First up is Lizzie Kate Boo Club.  This is the third block out of twelve.

I will be stitching on HAED Mini Ariadne this weekend as the SAL has started again on Facebook and then next week will be my other HAED Literate Dragon for the BB SAL,although I am a week late for this one so I have had a change of my Rotation and posted it on the right hand side, as much for me as for you all.

January Ornament Finish!

I finished by January ornament SAL with Angela and the Christmas Ornament 2013 blog run by Lainey by the skin of my teeth at about 10.30 pm on 31 January. It wasn't the ornament I was going to stitch but as I had forgotton about it, it needed to be a quickie.

I chose a freebie from The Little Stitcher.

I stitched it on 32ct Light Mocha using  DMC 816 and White.  I enjoyed stitching this one.  I have finish finished it yet.  I am sure I will at some stage of the year.

At the beginning of the week I started the next block on Snow Belles although it should have been Boo club.  I haven't quite finished it yet so won't show it yet and this week I will be working on Boo Club although it should have been Snow Belles lol.
