Next we have Vervaco's Sweet Dreams Baby, which I am not enjoying for some reason, more like pulling teeth at the moment and I have had to unpick what I did on Saturday night so am even more annoyed with it today lol. Lily thought she would like to get in the photo too. At the moment I seem to want to stitch anything but this and have been looking through my stash making lists etc anything rather than actually stitch but I do have to stitch it as I have a deadline.
I stitched a freebie from L*K A Hug will do for Sally,
http://stitchingplace.blogspot.com/, as she said on her blog sometimes you just need a hug so I sent her one. I stitched this on a pink 28ct evenweave that I brought from Michelle and I actually finished this one all by myself, a first for me as my mum usually closes the top up for me. My only complaint with it was I could have put some more stuffing in it but a lesson learnt for next time. I didn't have a heart ornament to attach so used a heart topped pin.
Lastly for today, my eldest son, Andrew, was thirteen on Monday so I stitched him L*K Birthday wishes as he said I had never stitched him anything. I framed it myself, not very well lol, with a frame from Wilkinsons.
I have also spent the week looking for my finish of LHN Ponsietta House that I stitched. I can't find it anywhere and am really annoyed so if anybody knows where it is please tell me. I have seen it on a blog framed and would really really like to get it framed in a similar manner if only I could find it.
Until next time, happy stitching

What darling finishes...love that Birthday Blessings finish :)
Sending good vibes for your WIP that you are struggling with....we've all been there!
Some very nice stitching and finishes. The hug is a lovely idea.
I think sometimes that having to do something to a deadline makes it so much harder and less enjoyable. I hope it gets better for you.
Lesleyanne, you've been a busy, busy bee!!! What beautiful finishes. :D
I hope Sweet baby goes better for you. I know the feeling of having to stitch something when it's the last thing you want to do.....
YOUR STITCHING IS LOOKING RELLY NICE, THE BABY ONE IS BEAUTIFUL.
Two lovely finishes, sending your son Birthday wishes
I have a cat like Lily too, a little ham for the camera, lol
I hope you find PH soon, good luck!
Happy belated birthday to your son--enjoy life with a teenager in the house!! That was so nice that he wanted you to stitch him something, Lesleyanne--it looks great :)
Hmm...no missing Poinsettia House here--hope it turns up soon. That must be maddening!
loving the finishes, i have not seen the Naughty or nice LK s off to have a look now, only trouble is i keep looking at the halloween ones too, loving the hug for Sally too, she will appreciate that!
Nice stitching! Hope Baby goes better for you! And hope you find that missing finish!
Your LK is looking good! :)
"pulling teeth"?! auch! :p
Probably the colors (too similar) are the reason for being boring, no? =/
Fill your lungs with courage and grab your needle! You can make your deadline ;)
Sweet from your son to ask for something stitched by you =)
Congrats on your finishes!! :D
What lovely finishes! It's so difficult to stitch something when your heart isn't in it. I say tell yourself that you're going to stitch a certain amount of time on it each day and hopefully you'll get it done in next to no time. My son's birthday was Monday also! Hope your son enjoyed his day.
Keep going with the big stitch Lesleyanne, you know it'll be worth it in the end! I love you little pillow, it's so sweet. Best wishes and happy stitching.
Super finishes bt Karen on your L*K pieces.
Great job on Sallys pillow and your sons birthday wishes gift.
Way behind on blog reading here.... sorry!
I know what you mean about stitching Vervaco...when I was stitching baby booties the shading drove me a bit mad! It's worth it in the end though...hang on in there!
I love my pillow Lesleyanne. I have it on display on my mantlepiece :) Thank you so much.
Your son's gift is so sweet. I bet he loved it.
Lovely progress on both your WIPs. It's really hard when your heart isn't in stitching something but keep at it. It'll be gorgeous when it's all done.
Lovely work Lesleyanne and such a lovely thought with your gift for Sally x
Don't you just hate it when its a piece you HAVE to stitch and you can't bear the sight of it? I hope you figure out a way to get over that.
Everything looks great!
They are all so cute. I love the birthday finish.
Aw, Lily. :)
Lovely stitching there Lesleyanne & your Monday L*K is coming along great.
Gorgeous finishes Lesleyanne and your lovely wips are looking great. Hope your missing piece turns up soon.
