Progress / Birthday!

It was my birthday yesterday and I was very lucky to receive some gorgeous gifts from some stitchy friends. First up, in no particular order just how blogger put them, is the gift from Michelle who also sent some threads which I forgot to take a photo of.  Thank you Michelle it is gorgeous.

I also received these gorgeous gifts from Jane, thank you Jane I am looking forward to using the threads and fabric so much as the colours are very me.

Both of these gorgeous ornaments have now been put on my cross stitch shelf which is looking fantastic.

I have spent three lovely days off work shopping with my mum and sister and driving my new car.  It is only new to me but it is lovely. I haven't touched a needle though as I have been cream crackered when I have got home and also had a parents evening.

I did manage to finish another block on my Lizzie Kate Boo Club.  I haven't stitched all the spiders as I am not very keen on them.  I need to catch the border up but will do this next time, possibly.

Last week it was the turn of my HAED BB Sal so I stitched on my QS Literate Dragon.  I haven't got as much stitched as I would have liked but probably more than I thought.

This week I will be stitching on another HAED Mini Ariadne, which is fast becoming a favourite of mine.
