This is how my Tusal jar looks today. A day early and not a lot of change since my last picture. I am blaming Wimbledon. I watch tennis most of the year round thanks to Eurosport but whenever Wimbledon is on it seems I can't stitch and watch tennis like I do most other weeks. I am actually a day early but I thought better late than never.
Since I have no stitching to show you I thought I would show you a little of my garden. This is my favourite part of the garden. I called it may mad bed because everything seems to have gone mad this year!
A close up my roses. This rose is from a cutting taken from my nan's garden who died when I was about four, so it is very special.
This next rose belonged to my husband's nan and was in the garden when we moved in. It was given to his grandparents on their silver wedding anniversary so again a special rose.
This next rose is a cutting from a rose I brought my mum when I was younger for mother's day called something to do with mothers it called be Mother's Day but I am not sure.
Last but no least my dwarf, ha ha, lavender and my summer bedding pots which if I do say so myself are looking great this year.
But as you can see she is fine. Such a beautiful cat, in my opinion.
Finally I cannot let this historic day go by without mention of Andy Murray who has won Wimbledon today the first British man in 77 years. Not one of my favourite players but today he played awesome and deserved to win. Well Done Andy!
Until next time, when I hope to share my progress on my HAED BB SAL QS Literate Dragon, happy stitching.
Love Lesleyanne

Lovely TUSAL and beautiful flower photos too.
Your roses are beautiful. My Dad loved roses and had loads in his front garden. It's lovely to see them blooming now.
Lily is so cute!
Was so happy to see Andy win yesterday. I didn't see all the match as I couldn't bare to watch. I just watched the last 20 minutes!
Great post Lesleyanne.
I love your garden pics. I see you have a Silver anniversary rose too:)
Isn't it brilliant that Andy Murray won, such a good match.I started watching in the era of Rod Laver, with my late Mum,she would've been ecstatic yesterday.
Pretty ORT too:)
Your roses are beautiful, I love a sentimental plant.
I bet lily was getting some of the coolness out of the path,, my cat does the 'flat cat' look.
Really enjoyed the tour of your garden, Lesleyanne--especially enjoyed hearing about the significance of each of those beautiful roses. I've never had any luck growing roses, so I'm quite envious :)
Your Lily is indeed a beautiful kitty!!
I've seen a lot of chatter on FB lately over Wimbleton!
Your roses are beautiful! Maybe I'll go outside and take some pics of mine, too! Nice ORTs in your jar!
