I have been meaning to post for a couple of months now but unfortunately my blogging mojo seems to have taken an extended break.
I lost both my stitching mojo and blocking mojo last year but have been stitching recently so will be back to show off my stitching soon.
I am heartbroken as yesterday, 10 February, my darling mother passed away and I will never see her again and just cannot believe it. She has been ill but we thought we had much longer with her but it seems not.
I am sorry to post such a sad post and will be back shortly with more about my stitching.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family! I lost my Mum suddenly and I think it doesn't matter what age you are or how expected or unexpected it was loosing a parent is a very hard loss.

If I was there with you Lesleyanne I would give you a big hug and tell you that she is not gone but still with you in your heart, as long as you can remember the good times and even the bad times with your mom she will still be there with you. She was ill and probably in pain but now her pain is gone and she is whole again. Just keep thinking about how much she loved you and she will be there. I hope you feel better soon and remember she hasn't gone far she is just on the other side in heaven waiting for you when it's your turn. You will see her again in your dreams, I do with my parnets. I am so very sorry, Lesleyanne. I can't even imagine how I'll deal with that loss when the day comes--my mom is my best friend and yours sounds like she was yours, too.
Having lost my dear father just three months ago, I will tell you, it takes time to heal and there will always be a vacancy in your heart. Take time to grieve and take comfort in the memories of happy times shared through the years... Sending a big hug your way.
