Top Row Complete!

I have finished the top row of Mini Ariadne today.  I had hoped to get it completed last week but my mojo is a bit intermittent at the moment.  I have to say I am really pleased with how she looks and I look forward to stitching on her again soon.

Not sure what I am going to stitch on for the rest of the week.  On Friday it is the HAED BB 2013 Freebie SAL so might work on that but not sure yet.  There is something else that is screaming to be worked on but we will see what comes out of the WIP box.

Page 2 Finished!

I have finished the second page of my husband's football logo, only four more pages to go!  Unfortunately, I can't stitch on it any more this week as I have ran out of the blue thread so I have ordered three more skeins just to be on the safe side.  I ordered white too!

This week I am working on Ariadne.  I only have a partial page to finish the top row so am hoping to get it complete soon.

I have a lot on this week as my youngest son is leaving primary school ready to go to secondary school in September so there are lots of parties and assemblies to attend.

I hope everyone is okay and enjoying the weather although I understand we could have thunderstorms this week.

I have been stitching on QS Literate Dragon for just over a week and this is my progress.  I really don't want to put this down today but am going to stitch on my husband's logo even if it is only for today.

Tusal

This is how my Tusal jar looks today.  A day early and not a lot of change since my last picture.  I am blaming Wimbledon.  I watch tennis most of the year round thanks to Eurosport but whenever Wimbledon is on it seems I can't stitch and watch tennis like I do most other weeks.  I am actually a day early but I thought better late than never.

Since I have no stitching to show you I thought I would show you a little of my garden.  This is my favourite part of the garden.  I called it may mad bed because everything seems to have gone mad this year!

A close up my roses.  This rose is from a cutting taken from my nan's garden who died when I was about four, so it is very special.

This next rose belonged to my husband's nan and was in the garden when we moved in.  It was given to his grandparents on their silver wedding anniversary so again a special rose.

This next rose is a cutting from a rose I brought my mum when I was younger for mother's day called something to do with mothers it called be Mother's Day but I am not sure.

Last but no least my dwarf, ha ha, lavender and my summer bedding pots which if I do say so myself are looking great this year.

 I caught the Lily napping in the garden last night in the shade.  At first I thought there might be something wrong her as she was flat out.

But as you can see she is fine.  Such a beautiful cat, in my opinion.

Finally I cannot let this historic day go by without mention of Andy Murray who has won Wimbledon today the first British man in 77 years.  Not one of my favourite players but today he played awesome and deserved to win.  Well Done Andy!

Woohoo!

First of all I am really really really late posting a picture of my TUSAL.  I took the picture on the right day just never got round to posting it.

I have finally finished the first page of the HAED BB 2013 SAL.  I am so pleased with how this looks.  I had a bit of a meltdown with it on Friday I thought I was never going to get it finished but with some kind words of some ladies on Facebook and the IHSW I have done it.  I am going to stitch on page three next as it is quite a small page.  

Not quite sure whether I am going to stick with this or hubby's football logo next week.  I know what I should be stitching but will see how the mood takes me.

QS Literate Dragon

It was the SAL on the HAED Bulletin Board this past week so I got QS Literate Dragon out and on the hoop.  I am pleased with my progress and plan to carry on with him this week in the hope that I can get page one finished.  We have already received page three lol. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

We're off to see Celebrities on Ice tonight at the local theatre, really looking forward to it. Most of the celebrities are from the last series of Dancing on Ice such as Gareth Thomas, Matt Lapinskas and Beth Tweddle.  Also appearing are Chico and Kyran Bracken.  It is hosted by Christopher Biggins. So should be a good night.

Did you miss me?

I have been away for a short break, Monday to Friday,  in Chapel St Leonards, near Skegness.  It was lovely to get away although the weather could have been better.  I don't take a lot of photos as we have been there so many times but did see this that I thought was great.

These cute little guys were quite often outside the caravan.

And good to his word my husband packed my cross stitch for me lol.  I did work on it too when I wasn't reading.

The previous week I worked on QS Literate Dragon and he is on the hoop again this week as it is SAL time on the HAED Bulletin Board.  This is what he looked like before I started on him again at the weekend.

Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!!!

I have FINALLY completed the first page of my husband's football logo.  I am so pleased.  It took two weeks.  I only have another five to go and really they are partial pages but I am rewarding myself this week and QS Literate Dragon and putting some stitches in him.

I am a bit behind on my blog reading but I will catch up soon.

Tusal / New Charts

I have been stitching on my hubby's logo this week but will show it when I have finished the page, hopefully not too long.

This is my orts for this month, mainly from Ariadne, but a few blue colours from the logo.

I have been VERY lucky recently and received some RAKs (Random Acts of Kindness).  The first one from Sally for sending her some crescent colours she needed for a chart.  Thank you so much Sally although you shouldn't have done.  It is a Heaven and Earth Design ornament called Woodhouse Christmas.

I was also lucky to receive this chart from a lady on Facebook.  I had asked if anybody knew the name of the chart describing it as a mother and son wearing stripey colours and she was able to name it for me and also gifted me it.  Thank you Liz.  It is a Heaven and Earth Design called Fairy Sitting.

I also received this gorgeous Santa from the "Christmas Elf" it is an Heaven and Earth ornament called Christmas Dreams on the day after my birthday.

I have also treated myself to this one.  A designer I missed first time round on Heaven and Earth Designs but she has now signed back up so grabbed this one quick in the 45% sale.  Although I had been trying to resist buying myself anything as I have a fair bit of stash as it is lol.

Thank you again to all those that take the time to leave me comments.  I really do appreciate them and it really does make my day that people are interested in my stitching.  I don't say thank you enough.

Page 3 Finished

Sorry it has been a while since I have been on here.  Unfortunately life as been a bit tough so I haven't managed to do much stitching but I have finally managed to finish page 3 on my Heaven and Earth Design Mini Ariadne.  I have to say I think it looks gorgeous and I can't tell you how much I enjoy stitching on her.

I am hoping to stitch on her today and tomorrow and then I REALLY have to stitch on my hubby's football logo before he divorces me for not stitching him anything.  I think what I am going to do is stitch on the logo during the week and Ariadne at the weekends.

I hope those in the UK have a great bank holiday Monday and hopefully we will all get nice weather.
